Close to the consequences.
As a Municipal Councillor and former Deputy Mayor responsible for the Press Office, I learned that communication is inseparable from the institution behind it. A request that looks simple from the outside may cross departments, systems and constraints before it reaches a citizen.
That experience sharpened my interest in procurement, digital government and the practical design of public institutions — not as abstract policy, but as systems people encounter. During this period, I helped oversee the transfer of the Galatsi Olympic Hall, securing €1.2m in annual municipal income through commercial leases and enabling savings and land acquisitions for future green urban space.
